The City of Landrum would like to express its sincerest appreciation to Chief of Police, Jason Coffin, for his many years of dedicated service. He recently resigned his position and wished the department and city success in the future.

 The Landrum Police Department is certainly recognized as a very dedicated team of law enforcement professionals who are committed to providing quality public safety service to our residents and visitors. Chief Coffin played a vital role in leading the effort.

The city’s goal is to keep operations moving in the same current direction as we work to find the right person to fill the Police Chief position permanently. 

Sgt. Levi Bouwkamp will fill the role as Interim Police Chief and assume duties necessary for effective police administration until a new Police Chief is appointed. Please give Sgt. Bouwkamp your support. We appreciate his willingness to serve in this important capacity.

Once the Police Chief position has been posted, the city will begin accepting applications.
