It’s official!!! The Saluda Grade Trail coalition has purchased the Saluda Grade Railroad!!! Their vision is to create a new 31.5 mile rail trail that runs from Upstate South Carolina into the mountains of Western North Carolina, passing through the charming small towns along the way. This is a huge milestone for Conserving Carolina and PAL: Play, Advocate, Live Well.
A celebration is planned for July 31, 2025 at 5:30pm at the Historic Tryon Depot, located at 22 Depot Street, Tryon, NC.
