🗳️ Voting & Election Reminders for Spartanburg County
1. Early Voting:
Continues Thursday and Friday at the Spartanburg County Administration Building, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Turnout so far: 1,576 early voters. Hopefully the sunshine brings out more voters!
2. Absentee List:
Available upon request starting Monday, November 3 at 9:00 AM.
3. Campaign Materials:
No campaign materials may be posted or displayed within 500 feet of a polling place entrance. Poll workers may remove signs in violation.
4. Campaign Sign Rules:
Spartanburg County’s zoning ordinance allows campaign signs only on private property, 60 days before and up to 7 days after an election.
Enforcement: Spartanburg County Environmental Enforcement.
5. Campaigning at Polling Places:
• No campaigning is allowed inside polling places.
• Outside, please ensure conversations cannot be heard inside the voting area.
• Avoid opening doors for voters—it can make some feel pressured.
6. Election Day Hours:
Polls open 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Anyone in line by 7:00 PM will be allowed to vote.
